The problem it removes
Most schools run on a patchwork: one system for fees, another for attendance, a spreadsheet for the timetable, a messaging app for parents. The same child is typed in four times. The numbers disagree, and nobody is confident which copy is right.
SchoolOS replaces the patchwork with one record. A student admitted through the admissions module already exists in the attendance register, the examination roll and the fee ledger. A mark entered once appears in the gradebook, on the report card and in the parent's notification. Staff records feed leave, attendance and payroll without re-entry.
Admission & enrolment → attendance register → examination roll → fee ledger → gradebook → transfer certificate. Entered once; correct everywhere.
Modules in service
All twenty are built and in use. The three marked shared are the same code running in other Sarventic products.
The mobile application
A companion to the web platform, for schools that already licence SchoolOS. Accounts are created and administered by the school; there is no public sign-up. Depending on the role the school assigns, it is used to:
- mark and review student and staff attendance;
- view timetables, lesson plans, homework and assignment deadlines;
- view examination schedules, marks and gradebook entries;
- view fee statements and payment history;
- receive school announcements and notifications; and
- view and download certificates issued by the school.
Because it handles student records, the school is the data fiduciary and Sarventic is its processor. What we collect, why, and how long we keep it is set out in the Privacy Policy; account and data deletion is on the deletion request page.
